ACCOMMODATION, EATING AND DRINKING
If you’re in need of somewhere to stay, we recommend Stavanger, Sandnes or Bryne. Hotell Jæren Bryne will give you a nice price if you book your stay through email (else@hotelljaren.no) or phone (+47 51 77 11 00) and tell them you'll be attending the DGB festival. There might also be some good options on Airbnb. Stavanger is packed with good quality restaurants. Our favorites include Zouq (Pakistani food), Mano or Panzanella (Neapolitan pizza) and Gådjå (Ethiopian). If you want a bit of high end dining, you might want to book a table at Bellies (vegan) or Re-Naa. The legendary fish soup (catch of the day) at Fisketorget might also be worth a try. If you want to go out for a drink, the city has quite a few nice places to check out. If you’re looking for craft beer, you want to go to På kornet, Cardinal, Hanekam, Øst, Cirkus, or Bøker og børst. If you’re into just a regular pub, The Irishman or Martinique is nice. For wine Norvald vinbar might float your boat. Blåveis can provide you with an awesome cider selection, and also some cracking beers. In need of world class, unique cocktails, head to Pjolter og punsj and treat yourself to a Nordic Daiquiri.
VOLUNTEERS
A festival doesn’t work without a backbone of high quality volunteers. Invitational 2022, 2023 and 2024 ran as smooth as it did solely due to the efforts of our team of volunteers, so we’ll be inviting the same people to join us in 2025. However, if you’d like to be part of that team, please feel free to get in touch – we might need an extra pair of hands. BE NICE!
We care a lot for our breweries and volunteers, and we’re committed to make them, as well as our guests, feel valued and respected, so please be nice to everyone. The volunteers are giving up their valuable time for free, to make your festival experience as good as possible, and the brewery reps have traveled from near and far to meet you, so please behave.
